Bio Maithili Patel is an emerging Kathak dancer and choreographer who believes in storytelling with a purpose. She has been trained in Kathak for 17 years, has been under the tutelage of Guru Pali Chandra and the mentorship of Somna Tugnait for the past 10 years, and is learning Taal Vidya under Pandit Divyang Vakil. Maithili is currently pursuing a bachelor degree in biology and holds a Distinction in the ISTD Diploma in Vocational Kathak. She has performed at numerous events all over the world and attempts to spread social awareness using her art as a medium.
